What this does
Covers getting back into Communicator when you’ve forgotten your password. Bluehubcloud password resets go through our helpdesk or your own company’s administrator — log a ticket, we reset it, you’re back in. Communicator and Online Self Care share the same login, so one reset fixes both (see How do I reset my Online Self Care password?).
What you’ll need
- Your extension’s linked email address, so we can confirm who you are.
Steps
- Log a ticket with Bluehubcloud helpdesk — or ask your company’s administrator, if your business handles resets internally.
- We’ll confirm it’s you, reset the password, and get your new login details to you.
- Log in to Communicator with the new details. The same credentials also work for Online Self Care and Communicator GO.
What you should see
You’re signed in to Communicator with your new password, ready to make and receive calls.
Troubleshooting
- There’s a “Forgot my password” link on the login screen — should I use it? The supported Bluehubcloud process is a helpdesk ticket or your administrator — use that instead. The same goes for the link on the Online Self Care login page.
- Using Communicator GO? The mobile app’s Forgot Password screen asks for your email and host, then tells you to contact your administrator — which is exactly our process anyway: log a ticket or ask your administrator, then log in to GO with your new password.
- You’re asked for a verification code you don’t have. Your account has 2-Step Verification turned on. You’ll need your authenticator app to finish logging in — contact Bluehubcloud support if you’ve lost access to it.
