What this does

Switches the language Communicator’s interface is displayed in, from a built-in list.

What you’ll need

  • Communicator open and signed in.

Steps

  1. Open Preferences and go to the General section.
  2. Choose your language from the language drop-down menu. You’ll also see an Add language button next to it — that’s for loading a custom translation file, not for picking from more built-in languages (see Troubleshooting below).
  3. Restart Communicator — the change doesn’t apply until you do.

What you should see

Communicator’s interface appears in the language you selected once it restarts.

Troubleshooting

  • Your language isn’t in the list. If a language you need genuinely isn’t offered, contact Bluehubcloud support — a custom translation can be created and supplied for future builds, though this isn’t a same-day self-service option. The Add language button next to the dropdown is where that file gets loaded once we’ve supplied it — it’s not something you create yourself.
  • The language didn’t change after selecting it. Confirm you actually restarted Communicator — this is a required step, not optional; the interface stays in the old language until relaunch.
  • The Supervisor panel isn’t showing the language you selected. Some Supervisor panel pages follow the language set on the system side rather than this dropdown, so they can stay in a different language even after you switch Communicator itself. Contact Bluehubcloud support if you need that changed to match.
