What this does

Moving to Bluehubcloud PBX? You may be able to keep your existing handsets – check the list below. It also works the other way round: if you’re planning ahead and want to buy new desk phones, checking this list first tells you which models are a safe bet before you spend anything.

What you’ll need

Nothing to set up — this is a reference list. Just your handset’s brand and exact model number (usually printed on a label on the underside or back of the phone).

Steps

  1. Find your handset’s brand in the table below, and check what we typically deploy it for — most brands cover standard desk phones, but several also cover cordless (DECT) handsets, conference units, video door phones, or paging/intercom hardware.
  2. Check whether your exact model is listed under that brand.
  3. If it’s listed, it’s supported — auto-provisioning it onto your Bluehubcloud PBX is a straightforward setup task (see Connect your new Bluehubcloud handset once you’re ready to connect it).
  4. If your model isn’t listed, or the brand isn’t listed at all, it doesn’t automatically mean it won’t work — contact us and we’ll check it for you before you assume you need new hardware.

Some listed brands are no longer manufactured. If you’re running legacy hardware, it may still connect — contact us and we’ll confirm compatibility, or talk you through modern replacement options.

Don’t see your brand at all, or a general-purpose SIP device not listed above? It may still work — most standards-based SIP handsets can be connected even without a dedicated auto-provisioning profile, just with a more manual setup. Contact us to check.

End-of-life models — read this before you buy. The table is the full list of models our platform can auto-provision today, and it includes some that the manufacturer or our platform vendor has since retired. A retired model still connects and still works, but it no longer gets firmware updates or vendor support, so it is the wrong thing to buy new. As at September 2026 the retired entries are: Alcatel IP100, IP150, IP200, IP300, IP600 and IP800; Gigaset Maxwell Basic; Htek UC903; Mitel 6867i; Snom 190; Yealink T60P and T65P; and every brand shown above as “contact us” (Aastra, Digium, Huawei, Linksys, Obihai, Panasonic, Sangoma, Sipura) — those are legacy ranges we can usually still connect, not ranges to buy into. Manufacturers retire models on their own schedule, so if you’re planning a purchase or a migration around a specific model, contact us and we’ll confirm its current status first.

What you should see

If your handset’s exact model is in the table above, it’s a supported device — our team (or you, if you’re comfortable with the setup) can auto-provision it straight onto your Bluehubcloud PBX.

Troubleshooting

  • My model isn’t listed, but I think it’s a common phone. Model naming varies by firmware revision and regional variant — check with us before assuming it’s unsupported, especially for Yealink, Cisco, Grandstream, and Poly/Polycom, our most common brands.
  • My phone is genuinely end-of-life. We’ll help you pick a replacement that fits your setup — contact our helpdesk or sales team.
  • I’m buying new phones and want to be sure before I spend the money. Check the table above first, or contact our sales team with your shortlist — we’re happy to confirm compatibility before you purchase.
