What this does

Online Self Care (OSC) is your own personal web portal — separate from Communicator — where you can check your call history, manage your login security, and see a quick overview of your extension’s activity, without needing an admin to look anything up for you.

What you’ll need

  • Your extension’s linked email address and password (the same credentials as Communicator).

Steps

  1. Go to the Online Self Care address in a web browser (contact our helpdesk for it — it isn’t in the welcome email), enter your email and password, and log in. First login prompts you to set a new password — this is shared with Communicator, so changing it here changes it there too. You can also reach Online Self Care from inside the Communicator Desktop app itself, via its own web app icon, rather than opening a separate browser tab.
  2. The Dashboard opens first, showing today’s calls, voicemail count, call forwarding/Do Not Disturb status, and your registered/online devices at a glance. Every page also has a top bar showing your extension name and number, a shortcut to open the full web app in a new tab, a language selector, and Logout.
  3. Go to My Details to update your login email or password, set your extension PIN (used for voicemail and other PIN-protected features), or set up 2-step verification — scan the QR code with an authenticator app, enter the 6-digit code it generates, and save.
  4. Go to CDR to search your own call history — filter by date range, from/to number, or call status, and use the toolbar’s Listen, Call (dial the number directly), Print, E-mail, Delete Recording, or CSV Download on selected calls. The three-dot menu next to the filters adds Show rated calls only alongside the recorded-calls filter.
  5. Check the Other tab for anything else available to you. Personal Phone Book is there by default — add or delete your own contacts, in a table showing Name, Contact Type, Phone, Email, Company, Contact Visibility, Contact Owner, Last Update, Updated By, and Actions. SMS Report is also there by default — filter your SMS activity by date range, direction, rating, or type, and print, email, or CSV-download the results. Destinations, Services, and Voicemail each only appear if your admin has switched the matching option on in your Service Plan (or contact us):
  • Destinations shows which numbers you’re allowed to call. Depending on how your system’s set up, this is either grouped simply (Remote — Local/National/Mobile/International; Local — Local Extensions/Network/Auto Attendants/Voicemail/Conferences/Queues/Enhanced Ring Groups) or, on the more detailed routing mode, broken down further by country. Either way, a Show allowed destinations summary lets you check what’s actually enabled at a glance.
  • Services lets you configure whichever extension features your admin has flagged as self-manageable — commonly things like Caller ID, Call Forwarding, Follow Me, or Speed Dial. Only features your admin has specifically opened up to you appear here.
  • Voicemail lists your messages with Move, Forward, Listen, Download, and Delete actions, plus a separate Voicemail Features button for adjusting your notification and greeting settings. Besides those actions, the Voicemail view also has a folder switcher — mouseover the INBOX icon in the upper-left corner to open a dropdown of your mailbox’s other folders, and select one to view (and manage) messages already filed there, rather than just the default Inbox view. Move relocates a message into another folder; this dropdown is how you go look at what’s already in one — two related but different actions.

What you should see

Your own extension’s real activity and history — nothing belonging to anyone else — with changes to your password, PIN, or 2FA taking effect as soon as you save them.

Troubleshooting

  • Rating/balance information doesn’t show on the Dashboard. This is controlled by your assigned Service Plan (Show Rating Info) — if it’s off, that’s expected, not a fault; ask your admin if you need it visible.
  • You’re signed in on a device you don’t recognise. Check Remembered Devices under My Details — you can review every device currently authenticated and log any of them out individually.
  • You’ve lost access to your 2FA authenticator app. Contact Bluehubcloud support — you can’t complete a 2FA login without the code, and re-enabling it needs to go through us.
  • A call you expect to see in CDR isn’t there, or has no recording. Confirm the date range actually covers it, and check Show recorded calls only isn’t filtering it out if the call wasn’t recorded in the first place.
  • You don’t see Destinations, Services, or Voicemail under Other. These only show once your admin has switched the matching option on for your Service Plan — ask your admin, or contact us if you believe you should have access.
