What this does

Yes — Bluehubcloud PBX can put an AI Call Assistant on the phone itself, talking a caller through their reason for calling before deciding whether to wrap the call up itself or pass it on to a person.

What’s included

  • AI Voice Agent / AI Call Assistant — assigned to specific numbers, it works out what a caller needs and either sorts it on the spot or routes it through to the right person. Common uses include after-hours reception and handling simple, repetitive enquiries without tying up your team. It’s part of the core Bluehubcloud PBX platform — you don’t divert calls out to a separate AI service, so there are no costly diversion charges on every AI-handled call.
  • AI overflow for ring groups — if a ring group goes unanswered, an AI receptionist can pick up the overflow instead of the caller just ringing out (see What can Bluehubcloud PBX do with IVR menus and auto-attendants?).
  • Generated voice prompts — spoken greetings and prompts can be generated from text rather than needing a recording session.

Want transcripts, summaries, or insights from your calls?

Your Bluehubcloud PBX records and transcribes the calls; the summaries and business insights built on those transcripts are delivered by Business Insights, our analytics platform (requires a Business Insights subscription) — see What is Business Insights, and how does it work with Bluehubcloud PBX?.

Why it matters

An AI Call Assistant doesn’t replace your team — it covers the moments they can’t: after hours, a sudden call spike, or a simple question that doesn’t need a person at all. That means fewer missed calls, without adding headcount.
